Intergenerational Programs are designed to bring together the youth and elderly in efforts to dispel myths concerning the generations. When the generations are united to provide a service to the community, a special bond is created.

Wide-ranging effects have been produced through the Intergenerational Programs. The mission of bridging the "generational gap" through the programs has succeeded. Intergenerational Programs have also given at-risk students a new enthusiasm for school and a confidence for the future.
