Inducted 1997Through the joint partnership with Region VI schools, Grand Prize has been intimately involved with each school’s development, training and initiation of their individualized School Improvement Plans. Through the leadership of President, Ralph G. Sifford, employees of Grand Prize serve as role models and presenters; provide work experience opportunities and student incentive programs which have resulted in decreased misbehavior, lower dropout rates, and increased student performance and attendance. Additionally, the involvement of Grand Prize has increased parental involvement, parent ownership in school activities, and merged accountability with responsibility through on-going sponsorship of school-based in-services for the community.
