The New Hot Wheels Skating Center

Tuesday evenings at the rink were set aside for “Family
Skate Nights” where 100% of the admissions went to
the schools. Over the course of the partnership, more than
$100,000 was raised, and Furthermore, over 1 million free
admission passes were given each year for staff to utilize
as student incentives. Hot Wheels supported community-wide
efforts by sponsoring Red Ribbon Rallies and an essay contest
for students which encouraged them to “Say No to Drugs”.
They also developed a “Roll” Model Program aimed
at at-risk middle school students. The program recognized
students and their teachers who were instrumental in assisting
them to turn around their academics, attendance and attitude.
