On behalf of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, we applaud our business and civic community that continues to make significant contributions as Dade Partners. The businesses, organizations, and individuals honored today represent the “best and brightest” from among a myriad of partners in education. In fact, this year alone, another 125 businesses “signed up” with our schools, joining the ranks of over 2,600 Dade Partners throughout the county.
Next month, Florida Commissioner of Education, Jim Horne, will recognize three of last year’s Exemplary Award winners at a statewide ceremony. These partners have found creative and substantive ways to assist our schools. Their work and efforts are truly invaluable and provide an example for others throughout the state.
As you look through the following pages, we showcase our Hall of Fame partners and the Exemplary Award winners for 2003-2004. I know you will be awed by their commitment and the impact that each are having on our students.
