Application Procedure
and Applicant Responsibility
Applicants must
be United State citizens or eligible non-citizens, Miami-Dade
County graduating high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 cumulative
grade point average and planning to attend an accredited college,
university, or trade school. Employees of the Fair and their
dependents are ineligible.
Applicants must
meet all eligibility requirements and return all application
materials together to Student Service Chairperson at their
school. Schools must submit winning applications to appropriate
district office as listed on application.
Responsibility
of Applicants
Applicants to the MDCF&E Scholarship Program should remember
that it is their sole responsibility to:
1. Gather and submit all information necessary for MDCF&E
and M-DCPS to select the recipients.
2. Ensure that all materials are returned to the school’s
CAP office on time.
3. In the event that you are a finalist, a 2” x 3”
photograph is required – NO SCANNED OR PHOTOCOPIES WILL
BE ACCEPTED.
4. Include a 5-line narrative about yourself that will be
used to introduce you at the ceremony.
