What is HELPages on the Web?
HELPages on the web is the Professional’s Reference Guide to free or low cost health and human services in Miami-Dade County. This constantly expanding, updated database of human resources contains more than five thousand agencies, programs, and support groups.
HELPages on the web is the same database used by Switchboard of Miami’s HELPline Crisis Counselors. Featuring easy simultaneous searches by keyword and geographical area, the database contains information about: Abuse/Victim; Basic Needs; Community Organizations; Consumer and Education Services; Education; Employment and Economic Development; Family Support Services; Health Care; Legal and Criminal Justice; Mental Health Care; Social/Recreational Activities; Substance Abuse; Support Groups and Target Group Services.

To find HELPages on the web:
• Go to United Way of Miami-Dade’s site: http://unitedwaymiami.org
• Click onto Helpful Links
• Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the hotlink M-DCPS Employee HELPages on line
• Click onto remove from frame link on the top right hand corner
• To log onto HELPages on the Web, you must use your User Name and a Password. Switchboard of Miami and the United Way has created a unique User Name and Password for you.
• Enter the User Name, DCPS
• Enter the Password, Plato
• Select OK
